Death Becomes Her

Premiering in Chicago during the spring of 2024, Death Becomes Her is finally coming to Broadway this fall! The new musical will open at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre with its groundbreaking production. Directed and choreographed by Tony nominated director Christopher Gattelli, the musical is not only brimming with a star studded cast but also lead by an impressive creative team. Wicked

Wicked, the Musical, is the very start of the history of the land of Oz! Come and see how it all began, for everything is not as it seems in the land of Oz. Wicked is a story of friendship and betrayal, alliance and rivalry, a story of how things could have been so, so different. A tale of how two young girls could change so much in themselves, and the land beyond. So much happened before Dorothy dropped in.

The story of Wicked really begins, before the famous Dorothy and the land of Oz, with the young Elphaba and Galinda at Shiz University, and how their rivalry turns into an unlikely friendship, with both girls joining the same sorcery class and both fall in love with the Winkle Prince Fiyero Tigelaar, played by Kyle Dean Massey. The Girls go off to meet the Wizard of Oz, played by Michael McCormick, Oh the wonderful Wizard of OZ, only to discover that he is a fraud and not a wizard at all. Elphaba runs away, prompting the Wizard and Madame Morrible, played by Nancy Opel, to spread a rumour that she is a Wicked Witch. Branded the Wicked Witch of The West, Elphaba finds herself now opposed to Galinda, who has been re-named Glinda The Good Witch and defender of Oz against The Wicked Witch of The West.

The Lion King

THE LION KING has been a multi award winning production since opening on Broadway in November 1997. In 1998, it won six Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Scenic Design (Richard Hudson), Best Costume Design (Julie Taymor), Best Lighting Design (Donald Holder), Best Choreography (Garth Fagan) and Best Direction of a Musical, making Taymor the first woman in theatrical history bestowed with the honor. THE LION KING has also earned more than 70 major arts awards including the 1998 NY Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, the 1999 Grammy for Best Musical Show Album, the 1999 Evening Standard Award for Theatrical Event of the Year and the 1999 Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Choreography and Best Costume Design.

The young Simba, a prince among animals, spends his days in the sprawling Savanah watching his father, Mufasa, the King of the jungle, while doing as little as possible. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, originally released on July 31. The play opens during the epilogue of Deathly Hallows with Harry Potter, Head of Magical Law Enforcement, and his wife Ginny Potter, sports editor of The Daily Prophet, sending their son Albus Severus Potter on his way for his first year of Hogwarts. There, Albus meets up with Rose Granger-Weasley, daughter of Ron and Hermione as well as Scorpius Malfoy. Albus makes a surprising friendship with Scorpius, despite their parents serving as nemesis and rivals to one another.

But the surprises don’t stop there when Albus Severus Potter breaks tradition and is sorted into House Slytherin alongside his friend, Scorpius.

Both children are then forced to contend with bullying, as Albus struggles to match up with his famous family name and Scorpius deals with unproven rumors of being the son of the vile Lord Voldemort.

The story goes on to tell an emotional tale as Harry Potter struggles to help his son with his issues, Albus grows frustrated with living in his father’s shadow, and anger and hurt that broken tempers can cause. Then, when Time Travel enters the story, events take turns that will leave you at the edge of your seats.

Barrie’s immortality-tinged Peter Pan stories, The Lost Boys: a New Musical delves into the tale of the Emerson family who recently relocated to Santa Carla in search of a new life. Here, while recently divorced mother Lucy tries desperately to piece her life back together, her two teenage sons, Michael and Sam, meet the Frog brothers, self-proclaimed vampire hunters. The two boys get drawn into the dark underworld of bikers – but the real question remains: what really happens in Santa Carla when night falls?
